The Mr. Coffee ECMP1000 Café Barista was an absolute godsend for me! I was quite worried that I just would not be able to afford a proper coffee machine what with the crazy prices some companies are charging, but when I took a look at Mr. Coffee it was like all of my prayers were answered.
I wanted something that was a little high end in its functionality as my husband and son both prefer espressos but I prefer a cappuccino or sometimes a latte. I was worried that I would have to spend a great deal of money to get this kind of functionality but Mr. Coffee was right there for me at less than half the price I had expected to pay!
The versatility of the coffee that I can make with this machine is really great, and it puts me at ease because I know for sure that every single person in the house is going to get the type of coffee they want. In addition to this, using the various features of this machine is going to be pretty easy thanks to the simplicity with which it has been designed.
This machine Mr. Coffee ECMP1000 Café Barista features an excellent user interface that makes everything accessible at the push of a button, and all of the necessary accessories are provided with the box. This includes filters, trays, drip catchers and all similar items. This is really convenient because it would allow you to simply get to your coffee making without having to worry about acquiring any other items at all!
Pros and Cons
You can also adjust the height of the tray to suit your needs. It can be pretty annoying to make an espresso with the cup as low as if it were a normal coffee cup, so I really liked that I could adjust the height of the tray on this thing to my specifications. Mr. Coffee ECMP1000 Café Barista is really easy to clean as well, with every part detaching with ease and being sturdy enough to withstand a good scrubbing. I hate washing dishes, so the fact that this coffee maker didn’t add to my dishes is a real boon for me.
Of course, there are some things about the coffee maker that I did not like. One thing I really missed was the presence of a bean grinder. It’s just so much more convenient to grind beans within your coffee machine, and I also wish there was a way to program the coffee machine to make a pot on its own but this feature is not offered either.
These aren’t all that major setbacks, however. In fact, it would be pretty easy to overlook them when you see just how affordable this coffee machine is. The features offered here are honestly good enough for a coffee machine worth twice as much, but because of the fact that this is not an established brand you get the same level of quality for a greatly reduced price.
